The official trailer for xXx: Return of Xander Cage, the third outing in the franchise dropped earlier this week and it looks absolutely ridiculous. From skiing through the jungle, to riding a dirt bike over waves in the ocean, everything about this film is completely absurd and it’s going to be a hell of a lot of fun giggling all the way through it. The tagline for the film tells audiences — especially those not familiar with the franchise from over a decade ago — everything they need to know in order to not take this wild cheese fest seriously: “Kick some ass, get the girl, and try to look dope while you doing it”.
The film stars Vin Diesel returning to the role of Xander Cage, Donnie Yen, Deepika Padukone, Toni Collette, Ruby Rose, Nina Dobrev, Tony Jaa, and Samuel L. Jackson with a script written by Chad St. John and F. Scott Frazier, directed by D.J. Caruso (Disturbia, Eagle Eye).
