Summer 2017 is shaping up to be one of the biggest, most diverse blockbuster seasons ever. Universal Pictures will be not only be competing against the major comic book franchises with Fast 8, but it will also kick off its shared monsters universe with Alex Kurtzman’s reboot of The Mummy. The reboot which stars Tom Cruise and Sofia Boutella (Kingsman, Star Trek Beyond) has swapped the charming era of the 1930’s for a darker, modern day setting.
Along with the official poster, Universal has dropped a trailer teaser for the upcoming film announcing the first official trailer will arrive this Sunday, December 4th.
