It’s hard to believe but the upcoming Star Wars spin-off Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is now less than two weeks away from its global debut. The cast along with director Gareth Edwards was in attendance for a Q&A live on Facebook yesterday and Lucasfilm took the opportunity to share a new featurette with the world. The featurette spotlights the character of Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones), a former criminal turned hero when she helps the Rebel Alliance steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s superweapon which happens to be designed by Jyn’s father Galen (Mads Mikkelsen).
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hits theaters December 16, 2016.
Produced by Lucasfilm, the film stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Mads Mikkelson, Donnie Yen, Alan Tudyk, Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker. Written by Chris Weitz and Tony Gilroy. Directed by Gareth Edwards.
