Netflix is casually dropping a new original series this weekend. The mysterious drama The OA follows Prairie Johnson (Brit Marling), a young blind woman when she returns home after being missing for twenty years with the ability to see.
The series is a reunion for indie breakout star Marling as she reteams with The East and Sound of my Voice director Zal Batmanglij. The 8 episode hour-long series hits Netflix this Friday, December 16th.
Ahead of its release Netflix has released three eerie spots plus a trailer that teases the mysterious plot the series will unravel.
