Another clip from the upcoming Star Wars spin-off Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has hit the web. The clip gives us a preview of the early dynamic between Jyn and Cassian in the film as the two are about to embark on a journey to the Imperial-occupied planet of Jedha with the reprogrammed Imperial security droid K-2SO. Towards the end of the clip, you can hear the strings in the score begin to soar as the ship is about to take off. So far the brief bit of music we have heard from the score by Michael Giacchino sounds totally in sync with the symphonic scores of the Skywalker saga by legendary composer John Williams.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hits theaters December 16, 2016.

Produced by Lucasfilm, the film stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Mads Mikkelson, Donnie Yen, Alan Tudyk, Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker. Written by Chris Weitz and Tony Gilroy. Directed by Garreth Edwards.

Yesterday, Paramount Pictures released a trailer teaser for the upcoming live-action adaptation of the classic anime Ghost in the Shell. The first official trailer will make it’s debut this Sunday, November 13th. But to hold us over until then, Entertainment Tonight has released a behind the scenes look at featuring the filming of a scene that many will recognize from the anime when Motoko A.K.A. The Major (Scarlett Johannson) and Batou (Pilou Asbaek) stop a garbage truck driving Ghost who has been hacked by the Puppet Master.

The film has been under major scrutiny since it was announced Johannson would star in the role of The Major, a Japanese character in the anime — and while diversity continues to be a major issue in Hollywood — it’s also important to reserve judgment until you have seen the movie.

So far, the film looks visually spectacular and we all know how fantastic Johansson is as Black Widow. Hopefully, the film will give a reason for Motoko being an American so that it doesn’t come off as blatant whitewashing (even though it is). The film’s director, Rupert Sanders, doesn’t have the best track record either so it’s probably best to keep expectations low in order for us to be pleasantly surprised if the film turns out good, which at this point seems promising. It’s good to see the nineties influence is present in the costume design and the vehicles featured in the film as well.

The film produced by Paramount Pictures stars Scarlett JohannsonPilou AsbækMichael Pitt,Juliette Binoche, Kaori Momoi, Rila Fukushima, Chin Han, Danusia Samal, Lasarus Ratuere, Yutaka Izumihara, and Tuwanda Manyimo with a script penned by Jamie Moss, directed by Rupert Sanders.

Ghost in the Shell hits theaters March 31, 2017.

Based on the internationally-acclaimed sci-fi property, “GHOST IN THE SHELL” follows the Major, a special ops, one-of-a-kind human-cyborg hybrid, who leads the elite task force Section 9. Devoted to stopping the most dangerous criminals and extremists, Section 9 is faced with an enemy whose singular goal is to wipe out Hanka Robotics advancements in cyber technology.
