NYCC 2016: ‘Justice League’ BTS Video

Warner Brothers has released an exciting behind the scenes look at the upcoming ‘Justice League’ to celebrate the film wrapping production. The studio has their work cut out for them as they attempt to win audiences back after the negative reception to Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice. We’ve already gotten to see a trailer plus reports from the press from their set visit a few months ago. The trailer plus this new behind the scenes look indicates a lighter tone and a general sense of the film being more fun than the dark and dire tone of the previous entries to the D.C. extended universe.

Check out the video below. There looks to be some great action and the cast looks like they had a blast making the film. It’s also nice to see the entire crew recognized for their hard work at the end. I don’t know about you, but this actually gets me excited to see the film now.

Justice League hits theaters November 17, 2017.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

NYCC 2016: ‘Justice For Barb’

The ‘Justice For Barb’ phenomenon continues. Spotted all around New York Comic Con are missing flyers for the beloved character from this past summers biggest series Stranger Things.

The ‘Justice For Barb’ phenomenon continues. Spotted all around New York Comic Con are missing flyers for the beloved character played by Shannon Purser from this past summer’s biggest series Stranger Things.

So let’s talk about this for a second. Did everyone but me miss the scene in the cafeteria when Nancy and Mrs. Wheeler were talking to the two local officers? They said the state police found Barb’s car at the bus station making it seem as if she had run away. If the local cops were under that impression then why would they be using up the little resources they have to look for her? Especially with the Will crisis going on.

Don’t get me wrong, I love Barb as well, I mean—we are all Barb and yes, the characters needed to acknowledge what happened to her more but shit like this is why Hollywood has to now force feed exposition down our throats. Get over it people! They showed you what happened to her. She’s dead!

New ‘Power Rangers’ Posters Revealed

It’s morphin’ time. Thanks to IGN, we just got our first look at the new posters for Power Rangers. The posters feature each ranger posing and ready to take on Rita Repulsa and the Putty Patrol. It is expected that Lionsgate will reveal the first footage from the film at NYCC this weekend.

The posters are definitely a step up from the last set released by the studio which had one that featured Billy chilling atop his Megazord. While the new ranger designs look more like MMPR meets Iron Man, it’s exciting to have a fresh take on the rangers for a new generation to fall in love with. My only hope is that we get some kind of call back to the original MMPR movie. What would you like to see? Personally I would love a cheesy roller blading scene for absolutely no reason or maybe the inclusion of a track from the original film such as “Free Ride” by Dan Hartman, or “Dreams” by Van Halen.

The film is directed by Dean Israelite and stars Dacre Montgomery as the Red Ranger, Naomi Scott as the Pink Ranger, Ludi Lin as the Black Ranger, R.J. Cyler as the Blue Ranger, and Becky Gomez as the Yellow Ranger.

Power Rangers hits theaters on March 24, 2017.
